Explosive welding of metals
1. Preparation before detonation
(1) Composite plate: explosive composite plate composite plate conventional materials are: titanium base alloy, nickel base alloy, Hastelloy, stainless steel, two-way stainless steel, copper, aluminum and other materials. Specifications are customized according to customer requirements, most cladding plates need to be welded. Welding methods are: argon arc welding, plasma welding, arc welding. The industry usually uses argon arc welding, in the welding process precautions are: argon purity requirements of 99.99 percent, welding current according to the thickness of the cladding plate and the material of the cladding plate. In the welding process, both positive and negative welds should be protected by protective cover to prevent weld oxidation and ensure welding quality.
(2) Substrate: The prepared substrate is first used to remove the oxide skin with a grinding wheel, and then polished with a thousand-page wheel, so that the surface is smooth and without defects.
(3) Matching plate: the piece-welded cladding plate is levelled and polished and matched on the specified substrate. Composite plate explosion requirements, the composite plate must be larger than the substrate.
2. Explosion site
The explosion site of the composite panel is required to be operated in the field, ten kilometers away from the residential houses, and the site is required to have soft soil and no stones to prevent damage to the panel during the explosion.
Three, explosive welding
According to the specifications of the composite plate material to repair the size of the ground (known as the battery in the industry) after the battery is repaired, the prepared substrate is paved and the dirt on the composite surface is cleaned. The gap is paved according to the process, and then the cladding plate is placed on the gap. Lay the charge, insert the electric detonator, and prepare to detonate.
Four, post-explosion treatment
The explosively formed composite board is cleaned, ultrasonic inspection is carried out, and unqualified parts are detected, and then repaired. It is then heat treated. The temperature of the heat treatment depends on the properties of the material.
The composite plate is levelled after heat treatment, and the second flaw detection is performed after levelling to prevent cracking during the leveling process. Finally, the composite plate qualified for inspection is cut and polished. Then the finished product is inspected, packaged and shipped after passing.
